In June 2015, Rotterdam won the bid for the World Police & Fire Games (WPFG) in 2021. The WPFG is with about 10,000 competitors, 63 sports and ten days the largest amateur sport event in the world. The WPFG brings together police, fire, customs and corrections in other circumstances then their daily (often heavy) activities, by means of sport and culture. The WPFG offers since 1985 an opportunity to put our emergency responders in the spotlight. Evanement! fulfills the roles of managing director and manager sports in the organizing committee.
